Veteran brawler, Jorge 'Travieso' Arce (62-7-2, 47KOs), will be back in action against an opponent to be announced on March 8, but what he really wants is a shot at Jhonny Gonzalez's WBC featherweight title.

Gonzalez (55-8, 47KOs), who beat Abner Mares last year via shocking first round knockout, is due to make a voluntary defense in the coming months. The thought was that the Gonzalez, 32, would fight Mares in an immediate rematch, but it looks as though Mares will be moving up in weight for a shot at WBC super featherweight champ, Takashi Miura.

The 34-year-old Arce, who retired for eleven months following his 2012 loss to Nonito Donaire, returned in November of 2013 to stop Jose Carmona in eight rounds. A legitimate four-division world champ, who began his career as a junior flyweight, Arce looks to become the first Mexican fighter to win world titles in five different weight classes with a win over Gonzalez.
